Apart from these sources, the HR department of Ahmed & Company has established “Centre for Vocational Training” - a Technical Collaboration with Singapore, which produces skilled and well communicated human resources required for the Shipyards and other companies in Singapore. Ahmed & Company is affiliated with CVT (Centre for Vocational Training) where they train the human resources in welding of 3G, 4G, 6G, 6GR, MIG, TIG, Blaster Painting, Scaffolding, Steel Fitting, Pipe Fitting etc. Also offer refreshment courses on Electrical and Mechanical.

Besides this, Ahmed and Company has a Data Book from where clients can pick up required and appropriate manpower

List of Services Offered:

a) Sourcing for suitable candidates according to the job specification given by the Employer.
b) Screening the pool of candidates before the recruitment exercise.
c) Organizing and coordinating the recruitment exercise and ensuring that the shortlisted candidates turn up for interviews and trade tests barring unforeseen circumstances.
d) Arrange trade testing facilities.
e) Conduct trade testing and selection if the Employer chooses to delegate the responsibility.
f) Make proper arrangement in Bangladesh for medical examination, passport and all related travel documents of the selected workers.
g) Prepare, arrange, co-ordinate and ensure arrival of the workers from Bangladesh to the place of work.
h) If required, to escort the workers and assist the Employer during the induction.
i) As per notice of information from the employer, to arrive immediately to the place as informed by the Employer and assist the Employer in resolving major trouble or
   disturbance, if any, caused by the workers.
j) Welfare and aftercare service of employee’s families in case of difficulties and compassionate problems.
k) Reception and delivery of sick personnel or their remains to their homes.
l) To bear the repatriation cost in the event of:
i) Any worker failing the medical examinations upon arrival.
ii) Any worker leaving/resigning from service of dismissal on disciplinary grounds during the probationary period.
